THE CEO Dilemma

The CEO Dilemma…

“Do I sell, stay or go? How do I make that decision without letting someone down?”
“I know what I don’t want but don’t know what I want.”
“I’m in my 50s - what if my next gig is my last?”
“I made a lot of money for shareholders but what about my legacy and where do I start?”
“If I step down as CEO and go back into the job market, what if younger businesses won’t want some old bloke who’s out of touch with AI? What would I do?”
“I’ve been a <insert professional identity> all my life - I’m not sure what else I could do”
“Money is not the issue, but I’m worried I’ll become irrelevant once I leave”
“If I can’t get another CEO job at this level, industry & pay, I’m concerned I’ll have to drop back to being a manager or become yet another consultant”

And a lot of guys are shouldering this weight almost alone, not wanting to burden their partners.

You need to create a new vision and it starts with talking to someone and creating a plan.

It might feel big and Everest-like but who tries to climb it straight up if they’ve never done a big hike before?!
(and then judged themselves unfairly because of that?!)
