“I just really love working with men!”
This is often how I answer the question when people ask ‘Why do you this work? Why a female men’s coach?’
With over 20 years of dedicated experience in coaching men through life’s pivotal transitions, I have honed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that men face.
Snapshot of my credibility
Yes I am a qualified coach and am committed to never-ending learning, training and upskilling to ‘stay sharp’
10 + years in fitness education and coaching
15 + years in sales and sales training
Did not stop once achieved the ‘10,000 hours Mastery milestone’
Niche expert in health & fitness, IT and events
Intrigued by human behaviour and communication and genuinely love people
I really really care and love listening. Qualifications mean zilch if you’re not showing up doing the basics to show someone you respect and acknowledge them
Fascinated by human behaviour, I studied Middle Eastern politics, languages and linguistics at university, then went on to work in the fitness industry for over 10 years where my coaching journey began. Training as a PT and working with the best in Australia and New Zealand was a bonus but it was my work as a sales manager, general manager and educator, working with incredible mentors and leaders which provided a foundation for so much of what I know and who I am today. I’ve helped individuals and businesses make a lot of money but the golden thread linking all my experiences? Coaching.
Helping a person think, live, work and love better.

But there’s more to this than just a lifetime working with and appreciating men. Let me share something close to my heart so you know me before you work with me…
My ‘Why’ - my father and the bigger issue of men’s mental health and suicide.
Dad fell into a deep depression when he retired because he had no plan and wasn’t prepared for the reality of retired life, lost identity and purpose. When he sold his business in the late 90s, he went from popular restaurant owner, an important guy in the community, to being invisible the next day with no one needing him anymore. Nowhere to be, no customers stories to listen to and no one to hear his.
There were no resources, social media self-help, no ‘retirement action plan’ coaching back then. You were supposed to just stop working and life would be just fine with that sudden change in identity. Lucky he moved through it and got back on track to live a happy fulfilling second phase of life but I never want to see another brave, beautiful strong man go through that experience.
In addition to my personal experience, there is a serious mental health issue and male suicide rate which I know we can do something about if we help men connect, talk, move and feel confident about their future possibilities.
What’s going on with men?
Healthier happier men who do the work on themselves and take action also make better fathers, partners, and are capable of changing the world. Literally. So here's to more of that.
But something happens where they can be derailed. Over my years coaching men from tradies to corporate, seniors and leaders, I noticed a pattern...
in all ages, particularly the ones around 50, that whatever the catalyst: turning 50, retirement, redundancy, separation, divorce, having kids or empty nest.
Even successful men who've achieved their goals and realise they're still empty.
The pattern is this - when sh*t hits the fan, it's bloody scary and these capable, strong, loving good guys believe they're having a mid-life crisis, often don't know how to talk about it and what to do to get back on track.
I believe most men going through a tough time are not broken or messed up or 'weak'.
But actually need someone who has their back, a space where they can say whatever they want without fear of being criticised and someone in their corner to help them with an action plan to:
- create clarity (go from what you don't want to what you do want)
- make decisions and have uncomfortable conversations
- get back on track during life's rocky patches
- purpose and feel good again
That's where I come in as a coach - not to tell you how to change but to help you find your own path, shine a light for you and hold you accountable so you succeed.
When I'm not coaching or leading workshops, you can also find me in my other hustle:

I genuinely appreciate men for their masculine qualities and thinking and as a woman, I am here to offer a different perspective but never to change or criticise the men I work with. I offer a safe confidential space, energy and guidance to support men who often don't feel comfortable opening up to another man or burdening their partner with their challenges and fears.
